We took the liberty of making a delicious chocolate dessert this week. Why? Because we love dark chocolate and wanted to experiment with some new creations for this summer heat.
This week we chose something delicious AND health conscious: chocolate-covered bananas.
Fruit and chocolate are a prefect combination. Banana was our fruit of choice.
To begin, you'll need bananas, skewer sticks, Hello Cocoa dark chocolate, and toppings of your choice.
Cut the bananas in half, place on skewers, and place in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Then prep your chocolate and toppings.
We chose three different toppings to go with the chocolate and banana: crushed pistachio, freeze dried strawberries and chopped dried coconut. Once crushed in the food-processor, the toppings are ready to roll ;).
We melted a combination of our Uganda and Dominican Republic chocolates for dipping. Just put on a double boiler, throw a few chocolate bars in there to melt, and stir. Once melted, the chocolate is ready for dipping.
